Abstract

Em busca de uma fenomenologia da Investigação Matemática na Educação Matemática, a pesquisa de doutorado do primeiro autor deste artigo, orientada pelo segundo, interrogou doze trabalhos acadêmicos que se mostraram significativos para a comunidade afetada pelo tema. Como resultado, a Investigação Matemática na Educação Matemática pôde ser entendida como uma forma de fazer matemática e como uma forma de ensinar matemática. Como forma de fazer matemática, a pesquisa demonstrou que a Investigação Matemática valoriza conjecturas, testes, generalizações e demonstrações como seu modus operandi ; e como forma de ensinar matemática, idealiza a experiência científica de produzir conhecimento em matemática para a sala de aula, concebendo as ações dos alunos como imitação, agindo como um matemático. Os sentidos e significados que assim se abriram foram interpretados hermeneuticamente à luz da pergunta: o que é isso; Investigação Matemática na Educação Matemática? Este texto é um recorte da pesquisa supracitada, com a qual expomos entendimentos sobre a Investigação Matemática na Educação Matemática em suas expressões do fazer e do ensinar matemática.

PhD in Science Education and Mathematics Education. Master in Teaching. Degree in Mathematics. Adjunct professor at the State University of Paraná, União da Vitória campus, linked to the Center for Exact and Biological Sciences and the Postgraduate Program in Mathematics Education (PRPGEM). Member of the Brazilian Society of Mathematics Education (SBEM). Leading member of the research group Mathematics Investigation in Mathematics Education (IMEM). Areas of interest: Mathematical Investigation in Mathematics Education and Philosophy of Mathematics Education.

Tiago Emanuel Klüber, Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná

Graduated in Mathematics and specialist in Teaching in Higher Education from the State University of the Center-West - UNICENTRO. Master in Education from the State University of Ponta Grossa - UEPG and PhD in Scientific and Technological Education (2012) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC. Research in the areas of Education and Teaching, with an emphasis on Mathematics Education, working mainly on the following themes: Mathematical Modeling, Teacher Training, Epistemology and philosophy of Mathematics Education. Professor at the Center for Exact and Technological Sciences, CCET, at Unioeste, Campus Cascavel. He was coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Science Education and Mathematics Education at Unioeste (PPGECEM), master's and doctorate level, CAPES, concept 4, (2017-2021), Cascavel campus, where he is currently a permanent professor, guiding research at master's and doctoral level. He was deputy coordinator of GT-10 Mathematical Modeling (2012-2015 and 2015-2018), of the Brazilian Society of Mathematics Education, SBEM. President of the Society for Qualitative Studies and Research, SEPQ (2023-2027).
