This work narrates the experience of a university professor studying a master's degree during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the daily life of the academic environment, different sensations were felt, causing countless uncertainties regarding the relevance or not of being there. The diversity of experiences and the exchange of knowledge enriched the journey, which, despite being challenging, provided new perspectives on resilience and adaptation in times of crisis.
