EVALUATION OF TECHNICAL TRAINING AT THE SECONDARY LEVEL IN FEDERAL INSTITUTES: THE CASE OF IFBA THROUGH THE PERCEPTIONS OF STUDENTS

The objective of this research was to understand the students' view on various aspects of training at IFBA. By means of a structured questionnaire applied at the Camaçari, Santo Amaro and Simões Filho campuses, data were collected from students regarding their expectations and perceptions during their professional training trajectory; integration into the labour market; the positive and negative points of the training received at IFBA and the internship in the area of the technical course. As a result, it was possible to observe that most of the participating students were from the first years, they reported that the stoppages/strikes during the course delay the training and demotivate. Even so, they consider the training offered by the IFBA and the preparation of the teaching staff to be good. The students pointed out the need to integrate the curriculum, reduce course time and provide learning opportunities in an easier way. For future studies, it is proposed that the research be applied to other IFBA campuses and thus have a perception of the.
