Abstract

The present work is an excerpt from the Master's in Education research of the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). The research presents as a theme the curricular organization of the municipal schools of Tempo Integral de Santa Maria/RS, however, this clipping is directed to the characteristics and potential of schools locus of research. . The objective of the clipping is to intend the theoretical assumptions that guide public educational policies for Integral Education. The methodology used is a qualitative approach, of the multiple case study type, carried out in full-time schools in the city of Santa Maria/RS, with teachers and managers, through document analysis, participant observation and focus groups. Subsequently, for data analysis and discussion, content analysis was developed, based on the steps developed by Bardin (2011). As a theoretical reference, the following stand out: Arroyo (2012); Carvalho (2006); Cavaliere (2009); Mol (2012). The research results indicate that the Full Time schools of Santa Maria/RS that it is possible to affirm that they understand the importance of the resignification of the times and spaces and the reorganization of the curriculum directed to the pedagogical practices of integral formation. Therefore, it is possible to show that the curricular reorganization, together with the times and spaces of the Integral Education School of Integral Time, contribute significantly to the teaching and learning process of students.
