This article is the result of a scientific study whose main objective was to examine how the concept of ableism has been discussed and problematized in the digital context, using the public profile of digital influencer Ivan Baron as the primary site of investigation. It is a qualitative, descriptive study that allowed for an understanding of the comments made by followers of this profile. For this purpose, a post published on January 2, 2023, in which Ivan Baron defines the concept of ableism, was selected. Based on this post, two samples of comments were collected to assess the temporal variations in the reception of the content. The followers' reactions were classified into three main categories of analysis, each containing subcategories. The results showed that, although supportive engagement remained high and the level of critical understanding increased, the post showed a decrease in its potential for direct political mobilization and a significant increase in ableist expressions over the analyzed period
