This article addresses the role of the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul – IFRS – Rio Grande Campus in the implementation process of Law nº 13.415/2017, which provide for the High School reform. It sought to answer the following research question: what are the impacts of Law nº 13.415/2017 on the Integrated High School program at IFRS – Rio Grande Campus? To answer this question, the objective was to understand how IFRS – Rio Grande Campus acted in the implementation process of Law nº 13.415/2017. The study is a qualitative investigation and was developed through document analysis, with the information analyzed using Content Analysis. As a result, it is emphasized that the Rio Grande Campus of IFRS will maintain the genuine concept of Integrated High School Education, remaining in line with the principles advocated by its Rectorate and the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education – RFEPCT, and there is no need to modify its Course Pedagogical Projects – PPCs to adapt to the logic present in the new guidelines.
