TUTORIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFESP: TRAJECTORY AND IMPACTS IN THE TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE

The aim of this study was to comprehend the Tutorial Education Program of Physical Education (PET-EF) trajectory’s at the Federal University of São Paulo, and the impacts of this program in the training and professional performance of their alumni. That is a descriptive research with qualitative approach that analyzed annual reports activities from PET-EF, and it applied an electronic questionnaire with nine volunteers. The data from reports were analyzed by content analysis and the answer of the questionnaire by non-aprioristic categories. As a result, we found that the PET-EF trajectory is marked by activities of tripod education-research-extension, mainly extension activities, and other punctual. The volunteers emphasized skills that relate to future professional performance, such as the ability to work in a group, accept responsibilities and the relationship between these and work they perform. We concluded that the PET-EF trajectory is in line with the Physical Education course of this university, and the National Curriculum Guidelines. Also, it has an impact in the student’s training, complementing, enhancing, and strengthening the undergraduate.
