THE ROLE OF INTRAPRENEURSHIP AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ALGAR TELECOM'S LITERACY CHATBOT

Abstract

Objective: This technical report on innovative initiatives in Human Talent (HT) management processes with the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions at Algar Telecom. In particular, it highlights the creation of a chatbot called DIANA, a solution designed to assist digital literacy activities focused on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Methodology: The DIANA project was born from an internal challenge promoted by Grupo Algar called “TH Challenge with AI”, which aims to disseminate a culture of innovation and intrapreneurship among its associates, through the insertion of AI in its solutions focused on human resources (HR) management. Main results: The expected contributions are to strengthen the culture of innovation and promote intrapreneurship, optimizing TH processes through the application of AI. Methodological contributions: The project provides a more dynamic and creative environment, where practices that are aligned with (new) management ideas and organizational innovation are explored. Relevance/originality: In addition to optimizing internal processes, the initiative also strengthens ESG practices. The creation of the chatbot reflects the internal DEI literacy process and demonstrates the company's commitment to advancing its strategic dimensions. Contributions to management: The project improves HT management activities through advanced tools such as AI, strengthens the culture of innovation and agile methodologies while promoting inclusion and continuous training through intrapreneurship.

Graziela Barroso Pereira has a postgraduate degree in Foreign Trade from the Northern University of Paraná, a Marketing Technologist from Centro Universitário Senac, a postgraduate student in Management with an emphasis on Technology and Innovation from the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais Campus Bambuí and a graduate student in Public Administration from the Federal University of Lavras.

Vanessa Gorete da Silva has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais Campus Formiga, a postgraduate student in Occupational Safety Engineering from the Higher Education Institution Educamais and in Management with an emphasis on Technology and Innovation from the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais Campus Bambuí.

Fabio Rodrigues Martins, Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais

Fabio Rodrigues Martins has a PhD in Bioinformatics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais; Master in Computer Science from the Federal University of Viçosa; Specialist in Teaching in Higher Education from Faculdade Única de Ipatinga; Specialist in Computer Science from the Federal University of Viçosa; Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the Juiz de Fora Higher Education Center; Technologist in Business IT at Universidade Presidente Antônio Carlos and is currently a professor of Basic Technical and Technological Education at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais Campus São João Evangelista.
