This work presents an analysis of researches that address narratives of literacy teachers about teaching and assessment in literacy and literacy skills, developed by municipal programs and/or projects. This article presents a state of the art that was an integral part of a master's thesis. After reading and analyzing the works published between 2017 and 2021, on the platform of the Theses and Dissertations Bank of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), specifically, in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations, we elaborated four categories: educational policies and evaluation; federal and state programs; conceptions and teaching practice; and municipal project. Our analysis found the small number of studies that have narrative as a perspective or research approach with a focus on teaching and assessment in literacy and literacy skills.
