This article is part of a broader research that seeks to discuss the production of circulating discourses in the area of Education, using studies already published around children's play with digital technologies. In this text, we present one of the devices that mediate knowledge and educational practices of childhood, making a discursive network work that connects children's knowledge, powers and subjectivities. It is the redemption device that activates different ways of thinking about the relationship between children's play and digital technologies. So, let's save the children! The digital technologies redeemed by the "good player", operated by lines of force that cross the visible and the enunciable, is the strong enunciation by which the device of redemption takes shape and effectively operates. The operation of the device's lines of force attributes to the school, with its disciplinary techniques, a high status of know-how about children's play with digital technologies, reinforcing their power of action. Schools are called upon to act as agents of knowledge and educational practices of childhood, where they operate mechanisms for the development of skills to make children managers of the potential risks of playing with digital technologies. Redemption is linked to what the school can accomplish in relation to the child to achieve redemption, assuming a perspective of promise and idealization in search of future salvation.
