USE OF AUGMENTED REALITY IN SCIENCE TEACHING: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Teaching Natural Sciences, in general, can be an arduous task for the teacher, due to its abstract concepts. In the teaching-learning process of this topic, one of the New Information and Communication Technologies can be implemented, which has great potential to be applied in Education: Augmented Reality (AR). This work presents a systematic review on the use of AR in Natural Sciences Teaching, with research in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, with a final portfolio of 20 articles. This study showed positive results, as the use of Augmented Reality in Science teaching contributes, among other factors, to increasing student motivation.
