This qualitative study examines barriers to learning and participation experienced by college students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Through in-depth interviews, the experiences and perceptions of students with ASD in the academic setting were explored. The results revealed several barriers, such as cultural and practical barriers. These barriers negatively affect students' academic satisfaction and participation in the university environment. The study highlights the importance of creating an inclusive environment and providing adequate support to promote the academic success of students with ASD. The findings of this research provide a solid foundation for developing strategies and policies to improve the educational experience of this group of students in institutions of higher education.
