The article analyzes how the trends of education privatization in Brazil have unfolded in recent years, in light of a critical and systematic review of recent literature in the field of educational policy, conducting an approach to the notion of endogenous and exogenous privatization discussed by Ball and Youndell (2007) and by other references such as Adrião (2017, 2018); VENCO; BERTAGNA; GARCIA (2021). It discusses and analyzes how public-private partnerships in education are being formed through contracts, concessions, and other instruments that constitute new and different forms of privatization materializing through various intentional strategies and market-oriented bases, as well as forming a network architecture involving public and private actors that contribute to the organic set of public policies. The study identified a movement towards the expansion of privatization processes in various fronts of education, attempting to appropriate public policies and public funds, configuring as an arena of disputes over educational projects and worldviews that converge to give new meanings to the role of the State.
