INDICATORS AS A MANAGEMENT APPLIANCE IN SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS OF PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION IN THE STATE OF GOIÁS

Given the emergence of the Third Sector and the need to assess the management of Social Organizations (SOs), this paper seeks to investigate which performance indicators, proposed in a management contract, can more fully reflect the assessment of the management process. Social Organizations of Professional and Technological Education in the State of Goiás. This paper aims to identify the relevance of the indicators proposed in the Management Contract by the State Secretariat for Technological Development (SEDI) for the assessment of Oss linked to it. Therefore, we opted for a qualitative approach, with a case study strategy, with was carried out at the Center for Solutions in Technology and Education (CENTEDUC). Data collection took place through documentary research, application of questionnaires and interviews. Content analysis was carried out with the support of the NVivo software, which made it possible to extract descriptive data and infer the qualitative analysis. The results show that the vast majority of indicators proved to be relevant in relation to the periodicity criterion. Many of the indicators met the question of feasibility. It was also found that the indicators were able to capture the adequacy of the offer of courses in relation to regional qualification demands. A good part of the indicators is capable of measuring the management and implementation capacity of public agents. Finally, the indicators were able to demonstrate the organization's capacity for institutional articulation and some indicators were suggested, such as: “managers' performance”; “professional turnover” and “teacher qualification”.
