PERCEPTION OF WORKLOAD AND EFFECTS ON LIFE QUALITY OF HIGH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY TEACHERS

There are different working conditions that directly influence the workload of teachers who work in secondary education and university teachers, which has a negative impact on quality of life, it is therefore relevant a greater awareness of the context and conditions of work and the need to implement changes in work environments. This article presents the results obtained from a bibliographic review carried out between June 2020 and September 2020. The objective was to analyze the effects of workload on the quality of life of university and high school teachers in different databases, using the keywords work overload and teacher and work overload in teachers. The main results showed a high workload associated with multiple responsibilities emanating from the management of educational institutions, which generates a lack of time for personal life, psychosocial risks related to stress and physical affectations; no significant differences were found, according to the country of origin of the studies analyzed, which include articles made in continents of Europe, Asia and America.
