This study conducted a systematic documentary analysis of the Course Pedagogical Projects (PPCs) of courses offered by the Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR), Curitiba Campus, with the aim of analyzing how these documents incorporate the principles of Industry 5.0 and discussing their implications for curricular updating in Professional and Technological Education. The research adopted a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive, and documentary approach, examining four intentionally selected PPCs covering different educational modalities and technological axes. The corpus was interpreted through Content Analysis, complemented by a characterization of the curricular organization of the courses. The results indicate that the PPCs incorporate, to varying degrees, principles associated with Industry 5.0, with a predominance of curricula oriented toward technical-operational training and limited transversal integration of dimensions related to sociotechnical innovation, sustainability, and human-centeredness. Although initiatives related to digital inclusion, socio-environmental responsibility, and the socially oriented use of technologies were identified, these elements remain predominantly concentrated in specific curricular components, without broadly reorganizing the underlying conceptions that structure professional education. It is concluded that curricular updating in Professional and Technological Education requires greater integration of sociotechnical innovation, sustainability, and human development, strengthening curricula capable of responding to contemporary transformations in work and society in light of the principles of Industry 5.0.
