This article proposes theoretical reflections and aims to foster a discussion on studies related to decolonial and intercultural pedagogies. It emphasizes essential aspects of Paulo Freire's dialogic education, critical interculturality, and the ideas of Good Living, contributing to reflection on the creation of a different world, new practices, and alternative ways of being, living, and coexisting in society. The article also aims to promote a debate that allows for rethinking actions aimed at overcoming the coloniality of being, knowledge, and power. This is essential for a more just world, one that recognizes and values the knowledge, ways of life, and cultures of people who have been and continue to be marginalized. The research is bibliographical, involving authors such as Oliveira (2015; 2020; 2023), Acosta (2016), Fleuri (2020; 2023), and Freire (2018; 2022). Among the conclusions, we highlight: one that highlights the urgency of creating intercultural education proposals today to overcome the colonialities that still persist and are prevalent in society, as well as that the dialogical education advocated by Paulo Freire contributes to the integral development of students, valuing their knowledge and cultures. Furthermore, it fosters the perspective of Good Living, which encourages reflection on other worlds and more humane and supportive ways of life.
