This research evaluated how ergonomics influences productivity in the anchovy evisceration process in Chimbote during 2025. A quantitative pre-experimental design was applied with 40 workers, using the ERAI method to measure ergonomic conditions and efficiency and
effectiveness indicators to calculate productivity. Findings showed that after implementing ergonomic improvements, the critical risk level decreased from 77.5% to 5%, while productivity increased from 64.58% to 86.28%. Student's t-test confirmed these differences were statistically significant (p < 0.001) with a large effect size (d = 3.861). It is concluded that ergonomic interventions significantly reduced physical risks and improved work performance, generating safer and more efficient conditions.
