In recent years, Financial Education has gained increasing prominence within the Brazilian educational context, driven by the need to prepare citizens who can deal critically and consciously with money management and consumption practices. In this regard, this article presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) that seeks to answer the following research question: “How has Financial Education been addressed in the Early Years of Elementary Education in Brazil?” To address this question, the study aims to identify, based on published works, how this topic has been approached at this level of schooling. The analysis of the selected studies was conducted through an interpretative approach, which reveals that Financial Education has been gradually implemented in schools, although still in an incipient manner. The findings highlight that its effective implementation depends on multiple factors, among which the teacher’s role stands out, emphasizing the importance of adequate teacher education and professional development to enable them to approach this topic meaningfully in the classroom.
