Abstract

In our laboratory we have managed to implement a co-culture model composed of Hs 578Bst (HTB-125 healthy epithelial) and Hs 578T (HTB-126 triple negative tumor epithelial, ATCC® No. TCP-1002TM, derived from breast carcinoma). This model of cells in active colonization that we have designed has allowed us to show how pH can affect the strength of the extracellular matrix and see the variable response of Potassium Ascorbate with Ribose and Potassium Riboside on it, demonstrating the indisputable importance of maintaining the alkalized pH by using the excess potassium bicarbonate of our formulations to combat the triple negative HTB126 cell line, and thus be able to guarantee a better cytotoxic antitumoral effect.
