Objective: To assess the presence of common mental disorders, lifestyle, and quality of life among university professors at a university center in São Paulo. Method: This was a cross-sectional study in which three questionnaires were administered: (1) sociodemographic variables and assessment of dietary intake; (2) variables on nutrition knowledge and the presence of common mental disorders; and (3) assessment of lifestyle and quality of life. Data analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. Results: Sixty-five professors participated in the study, and the majority had moderate nutrition knowledge (n=46) (68.7%), no common mental disorder (n=48) (71.6%), and good or very good lifestyle (n=54) (80.6%). Conclusion: The professors studied had a low prevalence of common mental disorders and good lifestyle and quality of life. Age, nutrition knowledge, quality of life, and mental health stand out as predictors of lifestyle
