To analyze the integration of the Brazilian Health System (SUS) into Physical Education postgraduate programs (PPGEF), a descriptive study was conducted, including documentary analysis of syllabuses identified on websites. Of the 39 PPGEF identified, 27 (69.2%) included health as their areas of concentration or research lines. Of the 878 courses analyzed, seven (0.80%) addressed the SUS, offered by six PPGEF. Similarities were observed regarding the "introduction of the SUS" (n = 3), "role of PE/PE professional in the SUS" (n = 3), and also knowledge related to "physical activity" (n = 3). Although the connection between Public Health and PE is not so recent, the inclusion of courses that address the SUS in PPGEF is still incipient. It is recommended that devices be created to ensure that health training in PPGEF is organized according to the principles and guidelines of the SUS.
