The increase in life expectancy and the continuation of sexual activity among older adults highlight the importance of preventive strategies tailored to this population. This study aimed to identify and map combined prevention interventions for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) targeting individuals aged 60 years or older in the post-COVID-19 pandemic context. A scoping review was conducted, with searches performed in MEDLINE, LILACS, Web of Science, and Scopus databases, covering publications from May 2023 to November 2024. Out of 1,180 initially identified articles, only two met the inclusion criteria. The analyzed studies revealed low condom use adherence, lack of mention of prophylactic medications, and gaps in healthcare professionals" approach to sexuality in older age. Age-related stigma, scarcity of targeted educational campaigns, and absence of specific protocols contribute to late STI diagnosis in this age group. Promoting sexual health among older adults requires intersectoral strategies, continuous healthcare workforce training, and welcoming services sensitive to aging specificities. The limited scientific production on this topic underscores the urgency of public policies and prevention strategies specifically directed at this population, recognizing older adults as vulnerable to STIs and ensuring their equitable access to combined prevention and comprehensive care.
