The use of information and communication technologies in healthcare is experiencing significant growth, as this type of technological support can help users access desired information with greater accuracy and speed. Regarding the rights of patients with non-communicable chronic diseases, there is limited information available, which may lead to underutilization of these rights. This study aims to evaluate the usability of a free app that provides information about the legal rights (civil and social security) of patients affected by non-communicable chronic diseases. The app was promoted through the LinkedIn platform for professionals and for patients affiliated with the Associação Parkinson Carioca, and an opinion survey was conducted, using the SUS Scale scores as indicator. The survey results indicated a high level of usability for the app, with strong SUS Scale scores, suggesting that the app was considered easy to use. It was concluded that the app achieved its goal, contributing to democratizing access to information and facilitating the full realization of users’ rights.
