This paper derives from investigations undertaken by authors who are based on educational policies, especially the influence of educational reforms on our educational systems. The section proposed here analyzes the actions of the World Bank Group (WB) in the field of Education, focusing on the determinations and influences of this body on teacher training policy in Angola. Anchored in documentary research, the text demonstrates the relationship between this country's national policies and the BM's macropolitical guidelines for all of its signatories. The results were that this international organization, with its international reputation, took on the role of influencing the reform of teacher training policy in Angola, through financing studies and supporting a set of long-term training programs. Based on this observation, at the end of the text, arguments are presented contrary to the neoliberal rationality that has been used in the training of teachers in contemporary times.
