Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) is a hematologic neoplasm that primarily affects elderly individuals, caused by the monoclonal expansion of neoplastic B lymphocytes. Recent advances in the understanding of CLL pathophysiology have led to the development of more targeted and effective therapies, such as Obinutuzumab and Venetoclax. Thus, the objective of this study was to report the case of a patient diagnosed with CLL and treated with a combination of Obinutuzumab (six cycles) and Venetoclax (twelve cycles) to raise awareness of this neoplasm and a successful treatment option, promoting knowledge and healthcare benefits for the population. Periodic blood counts were performed to monitor treatment progress, which was considered successful in the end, with leukocyte counts maintained within normal ranges. It is concluded that the combination of Obinutuzumab and Venetoclax is a promising therapeutic strategy for patients with CLL.
