This study aimed to develop and validate an educational material to assist Physical Education teachers in Basic Education in their pedagogical work with capoeira at school. A total of 123 Physical Education teachers participated in the study and evaluated the main difficulties in working with capoeira. This resulted in the construction of eleven didactic sequences: 1) historical contextualization; 2) rhythm and musicality; 3) practice of technical gestures; 4) possibilities of including capoeira in classes; 5) rituals of the roda and capoeira styles. Five experts then evaluated the material and agreement was verified using the Content Validity Index. The didactic sequences were validated by the experts with an overall CVI of 0.93, with a range from 0.80 to 1.0. It is concluded that the didactic material was validated and can be used as another resource to assist Physical Education teachers in developing pedagogical work with capoeira at school.
