Abstract

This work falls within the field of studies related to the quality of life of education workers in Brazil. It refers, more specifically, to the Elementary School teacher. It aimed to analyze the perception of quality of life of elementary school teachers. Elementary school teachers from the Municipal Network of Pindaí. Took part in this research. as instruments we used a questionnaire validated by Moreira, Mussi and Cardoso (2022), aiming to obtain sociodemographic and quality of life data we used the WHOQOL-Bref (World Health Organization Quality of Life Instrument Bref) questionnaire. This study followed the philosophical current of Historical and Dialectical Materialism (MHD). It brought the quantitative and qualitative methodological approach. The data was exported from Google Forms to an Excel spreadsheet and subsequently analyzed by the SPSS software version 20.0, using inferential statistics, analyzing the absolute frequency of results. Therefore, based on the research carried out on the quality of life of elementary school teachers, it was possible to conclude that the quality of life of teachers is directly related to their working conditions and conditions. that some aspects have caused negative impacts on the teacher's quality of life, such as biological sex, since, according to the results obtained, the largest number of teachers participating in this study were women and the majority of them were associated with a low quality of life. Therefore, improving teachers' working conditions is essential to guarantee not only the quality of teaching, but also the well-being and quality of life of these professionals who are so important to society.
