The use of active methodologies and the production of audiovisual and interactive teaching materials in higher education can result in a new way of working with the vast technical content of engineering edu-cation. In this sense, this article aims to present the steps and audiovisual, digital and interactive teach-ing resources used as an active methodology in the learning process of the civil engineering course. The steps presented below focused on building an interactive e-book on the Moodle platform using Interactive H5P. The construction of the e-book was the result of the Teaching Project developed at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás (IFG), Campus Goiânia, involving stu-dents, teachers and an external researcher. Due to the length of the contents, a “Mind Map” and story-boards were used to organize them, while the construction of the e-book was based on Bloom's Tax-onomy. Proposing that the student not only use the e-book, but actually build it, made him go through all the levels proposed by Bloom's Taxonomy and become a protagonist in the learning process, as advocated by active methodologies. It was also observed that the teamwork of students from the tech-nical education course integrated into high school in buildings course with students from the higher education course in civil engineering provided a more comprehensive view of all participants, from the choice of themes to the level of approach of each theme.
