OVERVIEW OF MATHEMATICAL TRAINING IN PEDAGOGY COURSES: MAPPING THESES AND DISSERTATIONS

Abstract

In this article, we present a sketch of the panorama of productions - theses and dissertations that make direct mention in their title of mathematical training in Pedagogy courses, from 2012 to 2022. The nature of the research was exploratory and the methodology was guided by mapping in educational research. In the analyzed period, it was possible to inventory a set of 16 bibliographical references consisting of four (04) theses and twelve dissertations. We identified that the theses were produced in four different institutions (PUC-SP, USP, UPM, FURG) and that the Federal University of Ouro Preto and the Federal University of Goiás were the institutions with the highest number of defended dissertations. We believe that, finally, such information can be used as relevant coordinates for those who intend to study the mathematical formation of Pedagogy courses. And even for the subsequent development of vertical mapping, in order to investigate trends and project perspectives for future research.
