Abstract

The purpose of this article is to deconstruct the thesis that the teacher is fully aware of the human being's ontology because his actions are oriented towards his training. For, when a teacher is asked what the human being is, the answers range from an incomplete sentence such as “the human being is …” to abstract, metaphysical, religious answers, in common sense, without any reasoning that makes explicit a certain conception of the human being as a species. Based on this unexplained assumption, educators continue to educate children, adolescents, youth and adults worldwide, in a direction in which human attributes are neither references nor telos. This article does not intend to explain the totality of human attributes, but to explain those present in Marx's thought (conscience, work, universality, sociability and freedom), translating them into the educational field.

Luciano Sérgio Ventin Bomfim, Bahia State University

Com sólida experiência na Educação Básica, da Educação Infantil ao Ensino Médio, tendo atuado não só na docência, mas na Coordenação Pedagógica e Orientação Educacional, possui graduação em Geografia pela Universidade Católica do Salvador (1982), graduação em Pedagogia pela Faculdade de Educação da Bahia (1986), graduação em Direito pela Universidade do Estado da Bahia (2010), mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1996) e Doutorado em Filosofia - Universität Gesamthochschule Kassel (2000). Atualmente, é Professor Titular da Universidade do Estado da Bahia - UNEB. Tem experiência na área de Filosofia, com ênfase em Ecologia Humana, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: ecologia humana, ontologia humana, ser humano, alienação e ética em pesquisa. Atua como Professor Colaborador nos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Educação, Cultura e Território do Semiárido - PPGESA e no Mestrado em Ecologia Humana e Gestão Socioambiental da UNEB, assim como é Professor Efetivo do Doutorado em Agroecologia e Desenvolvimento Territorial -PPGADT, atuando também como Coordenador desse do Doutorado.
