INTEGRATIVE REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE ON SPECIALIZED EDUCATIONAL SERVICE IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

The article presents a mapping of the main conceptions and trends related to Specialized Educational Service in higher education, aiming to understand the context in which researchers have used to discuss this theme. It uses the methodology of integrative literature review to analyze the scientific production in academic dissertations and theses in Graduate programs in Education from 2009 to 2019. The selected databases that provide the full production were the Digital Library Brazilian Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and the theses and dissertations bank of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes). As a result, four trends were found whose focuses of these academic productions are: teacher training and curricular adjustments; accessibility; institutional policies and human attitudinal actions, with 77% of the analyzed studies pointing to the relevance of Specialized Educational Service as a fundamental service for the access and permanence of students Target audience of Special Education in higher education.
