The construction of a right-wing national thought, which combines elements of conservatism, authoritarianism and a poorly polished discourse of economic liberalism, gained momentum from the 1960s onwards, with the rapprochement of ideas developed over decades within the Armed Forces with some theories defended by economists that would command fundamental strategic areas in governments after 1964. Structured from the Higher School of War, the National Security Doctrine, will represent a certain interpretation of Brazil and consolidate itself as a foundation for the actions of the Armed Forces, directing , including his political activities. Based on a historical analysis, based on documents and bibliographical analysis, this work seeks to understand how military thought is organized and maintained within certain parameters over time, to the point of influencing sectors of civil society. This interpretation developed by the military reached state command and remains relevant for understanding Brazilian politics even today.
