Given the scarcity of theoretical studies on the topic of graduates from Brazilian universities, especially quota students, and even more so in the context of the job market, this work aims to fill this gap, presenting data relating to graduates from all UFABC courses between 2010 and 2022. To this end, we created a form using Google Forms and carried out semi-structured interviews. The research covered both quota and non-quota graduates, allowing comparisons between groups. The results point to the existence of economic mobility among the black population, but highlight that ethnic-racial and gender inequalities persist in the job market in São Paulo.
