The constant advance of production at the level of consumer markets is more frequently used technological processes where digital culture triggers positive reactions, minimizing spending based on the cost operability of SMEs, the research aims to determine the effect of technology on the competitive transformation of medium-sized companies that constitutes economic growth in the Quevedo canton focused on the analysis of the productive system based on savings, doing more with less is a new business ideology where the low investment rate with a high percentage of return stands out within a marketing process, digital transformation prevails as an innovation tool that generates development, competition and profit in SMEs. The article has a method analytical, in review of the negative economic returns where the descriptive and exploratory method is applied to describe the possible failures that occur as a result of medium-sized companies, this work will contribute to the appropriate use of technology through digital tools that benefits the entrepreneur or microentrepreneur.Downloads
