Research on teacher training in Brazil is relevant because it allows a broad view of the educational scenario that presents the challenges of the teaching profession. In addition to providing information on didactic-methodological strategies that promote the development of educational processes. That said, the objective of this work was to investigate the thematic trends in research on teacher training in Brazil. To this end, a quantitative approach study was developed as exploratory research based on bibliometric review. The objective was to understand the trends in research on teacher training in Brazil, in an analytical way based on data, of a quantitative nature, on research trends in education, discovered through the VOSViewer Software, in and from bibliometric networks and discoveries in search engines. such as Scielo Brasil and LENS.Org. As a result, obligations became the main thematic trend in teacher training, which was the training of teachers involved in educational policy, focused on the area of mathematics with a focus on health sciences and nursing.
