This article addresses the post-digital condition in the platform era, where social interactions are mediated byalgorithms. To carry out our empirical exercises, we used a database comprised of 1.9 million tweets, selectedfrom political and social topics. Our research questions the ability of algorithms on virtual platforms to curatedata and synchronize human experiences. The internet, as a global network of computers, shares a wide varietyof media daily, where algorithms play a central role in organizing this digital world. Our goal is to understandhow artificial agents, like algorithms, can impart meaning to shared experiences in everyday rhythms, technological advancements, and the various unfolding times. Our considerations highlight the need for adeeper understanding of this realm, as well as the use of algorithms themselves for exploratory analysis.
