The main objective of the research is to determine the influence of job satisfaction on the performance of the staff of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, using cross-sectional data in 2023, using a validated reliability survey. The information collected shows that 58% of the staff express having only a regular level of personal satisfaction, indicating as the most positive element the challenge that the work of their position demands and the reward for effort, one in which the entity should improve. 81.3% report carrying out adequate work performance, highlighting their labor relations and pointing out teamwork as a dimension in which it should be improved.
It is concluded that job satisfaction significantly influences staff performance, obtaining a chi-square statistic = 118.477 (p = 0.000) and Nagelkerke's R2 = 0.490. Similarly, there is influence from each of the dimensions that make up the independent variable (Challenging work, working conditions, institutional support and remuneration for effort).
