This article proposes to make one about the presence of indigenous students in universities of analysis. For the construction of the work, bibliographic research was used, in addition to presenting the Resource to the data of the INEP Synopsis, as well as the involvement of the researcher with the indigenous peoples of Oiapoque, municipality of the State of Amapá. We consider that the presence of indigenous students in universities is a relatively new fact in the history of Brazilian universities, and that, therefore, deserves careful attention for its analysis, since it is part of a conjuncture that needs a reflection around the policies claimed by the Amerindian peoples and which remain on the indigenous agenda as a necessary action. In the last 15 years, the presence of indigenous students in Brazilian universities has increased. Even understanding that this represents the strength of the mobilization of the indigenous movement, we understand that we still need to advance so that the university is conquered in its entirety by the indigenous people and also becomes their territory.
