THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR AN INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH IN PHRASEOLOGY

Abstract

This paper exhibits the main problems in the development of Phraseology as a linguistic discipline with growing scientific production. It also highlights the basic criteria around them. Along these lines, this manuscript aims to specify theories and methods that according to the author's criterion are essential to conceive phraseological research of interdisciplinary character over the Spanish spoken in Cuba. Using the expositive and argumentative method, the author reflects on aspects that must be considered predominantly by the researcher; some of which do not have nowadays a definitive solution in the framework of this discipline. Thereby, a systematization of logical assumptions is offered to propose a consistent development for interdisciplinary research in phraseology.
