This work is based on the concern with the increasing rates of feminicide in Brazil, a theme of great gravity and relevance, which has been attracting the attention of professionals from different areas, both in the social context, as well as in law and health. Such interconnection has the purpose of making possible the denaturalization and the confrontation of this crime against women. In this context, the objective of the present study is to analyze how the literature approaches feminicide, as well as its fight through protection laws and coping strategies. As a methodology for this study, we chose an integrative literature review, carried out by searching publications in the databases: BVS, PePsic, SciELO and Redalyc. 26 manuscripts were selected to compose the study. Nowadays, based on studies and discussions, it is perceived that it is necessary to keep in mind that health professionals must support and provide support in the handling of cases of violence against women, exercising their fundamental role in the construction of educational actions, preventive measures and to confront feminicide.
