The text proposes, through the theoretical and practical process of cultural circles, to reflect on the generative themes: bodies, affections and sexualities with the objective of questioning conservative pedagogical practices that guide us to certain patterns of behavior and conceptions about the mentioned themes. The culture circles were thus developed in a youth and adult education group - PROJEA - of a school located in an urban quilombo of Salvador and, from this educational interaction we present some of the results of this propositive investigation, based on interviews and conversations that relate modes and languages that help to understand the generating themes in the school environment. This allowed us to point out and potentiate a (re) construction and affirmation of an education directed towards a more humane formation, by questioning the hegemonic frameworks of society and enabling the formation of a citizenship capable of promoting emancipation.
