Digital work platforms are a reality that affects several workers. This group of people starts to develop their activities with their own means of work and, often, without the most basic labor rights. Teachers are already facing this reality of flexible and precarious work. Currently, it is already possible to hire professors through digital platforms, one of the characteristics of what has become uberized work. In this context, the objective of this essay is to analyze the repercussions on the new forms of teaching work arising from digital platforms. The research was developed through the qualitative method, conducting an exploratory bibliographic research. Among the findings of the investigation is the fact that the remuneration is established only for the activities perform during the class period, disregarding all the previous preparation and subsequent developments. Teachers are transformed into content-mad, even though they know that the teacher's work goes beyond this understanding. The submission to this reality is due to the intention of improving family income, or even due to the lack of vacancies in the teaching labor market. The result is the removal of financial protection, health and social security, which directly affects the teaching work and the lives of such professionals in a negative way. In summary, the uberization of teaching makes the work of teachers even more precarious, reverberating in the scope of his life beyond school.
