This study investigates the paths taken in the curriculum development of Full-Time Schools in the State of Piauí, from 2017 to 2025. Through the study of philosophical and epistemological matrices discussed in the Scientific Production I course, the objective is to understand the proposals of the state education network for curriculum integration in full-time high schools. Methodologically, this is a qualitative bibliographic and documentary research study, in which the main corpus of analysis consists of Brazilian educational legislation, guiding documents, and guidelines that govern the actions that the state education network of Piauí has developed or is developing with a view to implementing full-time education in schools. To this end, we draw on Bertrand (2001), who discusses contemporary theories of education; Sacristán (2000; 2013), whose work highlights curriculum configurations and their pedagogical and political-ideological dimensions; Gadotti (2000; 2003), recognized for his contribution to educational theories and critical pedagogies; and Libâneo (2005), who addresses modern pedagogical theories and their reinterpretations in contemporary debate.
