Abstract

In this article, we present research conducted as part of the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) at the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ/ Mesquita campus), which aimed to address the dialogue between the memories of the Center for Professional Education in Information Technology (CPTI Petrópolis) and the continuing integral formation of the institution's employees. The CPTI is a public institution that is part of the Professional and Technological Education network of the state of Rio de Janeiro, managed by the Technical School Support Foundation (FAETEC). Using an exploratory qualitative methodological approach, in the shape of a case study, we developed, applied, and evaluated an educational product prototype in the form of a thematic guide on the memories of the CPTI, which was presented as a proposal for continuing education for institution's employees. Following the prototype's evaluation with the research participants, it was possible to configure the thematic guide as an educational proposal committed to human omnilaterality, focusing on the theme of institutional memory. The research results demonstrated the guide's potential to provide a contextualization of the Professional and Technological Education (EPT) institution amidst the frequent transformations in the world of work, in addition to boosting critical awareness of the community, with a view to transforming its practices.

Bacharel em Composição Paisagística e Licenciada em Pedagogia pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), possui Pós Graduação Lato Sensu em Práticas de Educação Básica pelo Colégio Pedro II (CPII), em Atendimento Educacional Especializado pela União Brasileira de Faculdades (UniBF), e em Neuroeducação pelo Centro Universitário de Valença (UNIFAA). É servidora de cargo Técnico Especialista na FAETEC e Professora de Educação Especial na Prefeitura Municipal de Araruama.
