Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review on Brazilian business internationalization between 2021 and 2025, focusing on challenges and trends related to legal and accounting regulation, technological innovation, and geopolitics. An analysis of 23 studies revealed that international competitiveness depends on the integration of strategic planning, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and adoption of digital technology. Results indicate that, although there have been advances in innovation and accounting sophistication, regulatory barriers and geopolitical impacts remain significant challenges. The research highlights the need for interdisciplinary and adaptive approaches to strengthen the resilience of Brazilian companies in global trade and identifies gaps for future academic research.
