Introduction: The web is characterized as an environment of social influence, through which diverse information can be accessed. However, several social groups, including people with disabilities, are unable to enjoy the benefits involved in using the web, considering that, at times, several web pages are created without considering the application of accessibility aspects. Objective: The present research aims to carry out a survey of the production of Brazilian Information Science on the theme “Web Accessibility”. Methodology: This is a mixed-approach, exploratory, descriptive investigation and, in relation to the technical procedures adopted, it is classified as a literature review. Results: The results demonstrate that the aforementioned theme has been discussed in correlation with a series of distinct concepts, namely: mobile web accessibility, assistive technology, accessibility guidelines, digital accessibility, informational accessibility, universal design, interface, ergonomics, web information architecture, information retrieval, social inclusion and digital inclusion. Conclusion: it is concluded that Brazilian Information Science researchers have contributed, through the development of their research, to the inclusion and protagonism of people with disabilities in web environments.
