ABSTRACT
Introduction. The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) brings together projects and future uses of librarians who have begun to adopt AI in their work. The subject has seen enormous growth in recent years, having been substantiated by the emergence of specific books and professional events, as well as by the publication of articles that have begun to address this topic. Such facts are therefore demonstrating the need for a bibliography, which would include the main sources of information that could outline the contours of this dynamic area. Objective. The objective of this work is to analyze the main documents on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in a library. Methodology. This bibliography sought to be selective, listing basic documents published in a variety of countries and in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. In addition to traditional reference data, the URL of the documents was included. In the search for data, carried out in April and August 2025, databases and databases were consulted. Results. The application of AI is a rapidly changing topic, so no single document can reflect state-of-the-art on this subject. The works included serve as an initial framework for understanding the problems related to the various facets of the subject. Conclusion. Based on the bibliography presented, the subject has seen significant growth since 2018. Furthermore, journal articles and monographs demonstrate that the subject is growing rapidly, initially restricted to the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom, and is now beginning to reach other countries.
