Although Epistemology and Philosophy of Science share many intersections, they are not exactly the same thing. Epistemology focuses on the study of knowledge in general, while Philosophy of Science addresses more specific issues related to science, such as its values, methods and the nature of scientific theories. In this paper, we will analyze what Epistemology or Theory of Knowledge is, and the specificity of the Epistemology of Science.
