Through communication, we exchange and produce information, which makes technological evolution possible. Since information is linked to knowledge, which is a form of power, the discursive dispute is for domination, not recognition. In this way, considering the right-wing groups that originated in the virtual universe and spread as online subcultures, it becomes possible to argue about the distinction between Habermasian communicative and administrative power. In this context, the internet, which is a unique platform for the social construction of autonomy, can also promote the deterioration of democracy.
